邓小平同志指出:“不搞争论,是我的一个发明。不争论,是为了争取时间干。一争论就复杂了,把时间都争掉了,什么也干不成。不争论,大胆地试,大胆地闯。农村改革是如此,城市改革也应如此。”(《邓小平文选》第3卷第374页)他的这一重要思想本来是很明确的,“不争论”是“为了争取时间干”。干什么?当然是干社会主义。但是近年来,有人离开干社会主义这个前提和目的,把“不争论”绝对化,认为“不争论”就是在一切问题(包括要不要坚持四项基本原则等大是大非问题)上都不要争论。笔者认为,这是同邓小平同志
Comrade Deng Xiaoping pointed out: “It is one of my inventions not to engage in controversy. It is not controversial because it aims to get the time to work. One debate is complicated, the time is lost, and nothing can be done. This is the case with rural reforms and urban reforms as well. ”(“ Selected Works of Deng Xiaoping, ”Vol 3, p 374) This important idea of his was originally explicit and“ no argument ”was“ in order to gain time ” . Of course, it is dry socialism. However, in recent years, some people have left the premise and purpose of dry-socialism and absolutely abolished “no-argument.” They hold the view that “no argument” should not be debated on all issues, including whether or not to uphold the four cardinal principles and are big, non-issue issues.
