The article summarizes the general rules of expression of subjunctive mood and common special usage. After summarizing the general rules, we point out the notices of omission of “if” in non-truth conditions and the phenomenon of “mixed virtuality”. Common special usage includes: a kind of special verb and its past participle, adverb nouns or adjective-led clause in the emergence of subjunctive tone; common nine kinds of expressions of the static tone of the subjunctive pattern, by analyzing sentence patterns, for example, in English Highlighting the characteristics of the application of the subjunctive mood; implicit expression of the virtual method, the use of prepositional phrases, the infinitive verb, the sub-phrase and the context of the expression to determine the subjunctive
