The inaugural meeting of the Geological Society of Guangxi Tongzu Autonomous Region and the first annual meeting were held in Nanning from January 8 to January 14 this year. The meeting was conducted under the leadership of the Association for Science and Technology of Guangxi Autonomous Region. The meeting passed a conference constitution to elect the Director, read the paper, discussed how the geological work to support agriculture, and organized a geological trip and other activities. At the meeting, Liu Yuanzhen, vice chairman of the Preparatory Committee, made an opening speech. Secretary-General Wu Qing made a preliminary report on the work of the Preparatory Committee.
