党的十八大、十八届三中、四中全会精神和习总书记系列重要讲话精神要求持续推进学习型社会发展,将建设终身学习、全民学习的学习型社会当作是实现小康社会的重要目标,建立学习型社会是新世纪改革与创新教育的方向与目标。成人教育是全民教育、终身教育的一部分,是建设学习型社会的有效力量,只有研究其在发展学习型社会中的定位,逐步改革与创新,才能在建设学习型社会过程中推动自身的发展。
