在毛主席革命路线指引下,我国医药工人及科研工作者以阶级斗争为纲,发扬自力更生,艰苦奋斗的精神,由四川抗菌素工业研究所,四川乐山长征制药厂、南通生化厂及北京市结核病研究所四单位共同协作,制成抗结核新药卷曲霉素,填补了我国医药工业上的又一空白,为控制与消灭结核病增添了新的武器。1976年3月在成都召开的国产卷曲霉素第一次协作交流会上决定了临床试用计划,并于1976年4月开始选例,由南通、南京、重庆、成都、北京、无锡、上海等地的结核病防治
