The promotion and application of the underground continuous wall has provided a new structural form and construction technology for the deep foundation of the construction project. Since 1976, our institute has collaborated with Shanghai Brothers and other fraternal companies to undertake the design and research tasks of a number of cast-in-place reinforced concrete diaphragm walls. The underground continuous wall project we designed and constructed is mainly used for retaining earth and load-bearing structures, such as a ship-lifting shipyard of the Shanghai Port Shipyard that has been completed, and the shore wall adopts a single-anchored underground continuous wall structure, and the other ship rises.
