我省地处高原,节结性甲状腺肿,为地方性常见疾患之一,其中并有甲状腺机能亢进症者及患毒性甲状腺肿者,亦为临床所多见;其均因影响健康及劳动而就诊,但由于缺乏放射性碘之选择应用,而主要系采用手术治疗;目前在术前准备及术中应注意事项方面,虽已累积了许多理论知识及临床经验,但术后出现并发症而影响健康,甚至危及生命者,仍时有发生,故如何提高手术疗效,避免并发症之发生,仍为当务之急。
