1980年2月24日,我国地学界的前辈,著名的地质学家、矿床学家、地球化学家侯德封同志不幸病逝。侯德封同志给我们留下了珍贵的精神财富和丰富的学术遗产。我们要学习、探索、继承和发展侯老的学术成就和学术思想,完成他的未竟事业。侯德封同志生於1900年4月,河北高阳县河西村人。1917年入北京大学,1923年於地质系毕业。解放前任太原晋绥矿产测探局、北京地质调查所技师,四川地质调查所技正、所长兼重庆大学地质系教授,南京中央地质调查所技正、陈列馆主任。解放后历任
On February 24, 1980, Comrade Hou De-Feng, a predecessor of China’s geosciences and famous geologist, depositor and geochemist, died unfortunately. Comrade Hou De Feng left us precious spiritual wealth and rich academic legacy.
