交子出现于10世纪末的四川成都,它是我国使用纸币的开始,也是世界上最早的纸币。交子是商品经济发展的必然结果,也促进了商品经济的发展。它为什么会退出历史舞台?它与宋代政治形势密切相关。
Jiao Zi appeared in Chengdu, Sichuan province at the end of the 10th century. It was the beginning of China’s use of banknotes and the earliest banknote in the world.
