生产用桃苗一般都是嫁接苗。但由于桃苗出圃时间短,砧木在圃中没有移植过程,主根没有被截断,不能形成大量侧根,而侧根少常使苗木质量受到影响。为寻求一条能提高苗木质量的有效途径,笔者从1984至1986年连续3年在本校果园进行桃砧木种子播前除根尖的试验。
The production of peach seedlings are generally grafted seedlings. However, because of the short time of peach out nursery, there is no transplanting process of rootstock in the nursery. The main roots are not cut off, and a large number of lateral roots can not be formed, and the quality of nursery stock is often affected by lateral roots. In order to find an effective way to improve the quality of nursery stock, the author from 1984 to 1986 for 3 consecutive years in our school orchard peach rootstock sowing in addition to the root tip test.
