Mr. Zhang Shaokang’s recently published book “The National Tradition of Literature and Art” is one of the “Series of Literature and Art in the New Period.” The articles in the book are selected by the author from the many academic works that have been published, and some parts have been newly revised. The book is divided into two parts, the first part is the theory of literary creation, the second part is the history of literary and artistic thought. These two parts are the two basic aspects of the academic research that the author has for decades
