福云6号是福建省农业科学院茶叶研究所利用我国南方优良品种云南大叶种和我省优良品种福鼎大白茶,经自然授粉杂交产生的有性群体中,采取单株分离选育而成的无性系品种。1982年荣获福建省科技大会成果奖。目前已在本省各地茶区大面积推广种植和繁殖推广。
