2013年1月22日,重庆餐投集团正式挂牌成立。这在中国餐饮界尚属首次,餐饮行业抱团发展的创新模式令人瞩目。成立时,重庆市商委主任周克勤,市委统战部副部长、市工商联党组书记蒋平,市工商联主席黄红云等出席了挂牌仪式。作为重庆市餐饮商会会长,严琦深感自己身上肩负的社会责任。她从2011年开始思考如何创新我市餐饮业发展方式,以有利于发挥好大企业带动作用,有利于整合资源,整体提升重庆餐饮竞争力,从而做大做强重庆餐饮业,为重庆打造美食之都贡献智慧和力量。
