STC是Science and Technology forChildren (孩子们的科学与技术)的缩写形式,是美国小学现行科学教材之一,它是在美国《国家科学教育标准》(NSES)的指导下进行编写的,是以活动为基础、单元式的小学综合理科教材。教材中所选择的活动贴近儿童的实际生活,强调科学、技术、社会(STS)之间的联系,如和写作、语言艺术、数学、社会研究和音乐等的联系。这一思想在SIC的教师用书中的延伸部分有显著的体现。我们试举“声音”
STC is an abbreviation for Science and Technology for Children, one of the current science textbooks in primary schools in the United States. It is written under the guidance of the United States National Science Education Standards (NSES) As the basis, unitary primary comprehensive science textbook. The activities selected in the textbook are close to the actual life of children and emphasize the links between science, technology and society (STS) such as writing, language arts, mathematics, social studies and music.
