1993年江苏经济继续呈现出全面增长态势,国民经济运行表现出四个特点:一是经济运行的阶段性特征明显,二是经济运行中市场机制作用日益增强,三是外向开拓拉动经济增长,四是经济运行质量有所提高。经济发展中值得注意的地方是资金和市场问题严重,提高经济效益难度大,产业结构矛盾仍然突出,通货膨胀压力加大。1994年江苏经济面临着继续加快发展的有利形势,建立社会主义市场经济体制的基本框架和推进经济国际化的步伐将加快,经济增长速度在1993年回落的基础上将有较小幅度的回落,但仍可保持较高水平上的平稳增长。建议适应宏观调控,努力稳定我省的经济运行,为今年改革措施的顺利出台创造一个良好的环境,从而使江苏国民经济在新的一年里更健康发展;抓住有利时机,推进改革攻坚;努力提高经济整体素质,使江苏经济在激烈的竞争中建立新的优势。
In 1993, the economy of Jiangsu continued to show an all-round growth trend. The national economy showed four characteristics. First, the phased characteristics of the economy were obvious. Second, the market mechanism was increasingly strengthened in the economic operation. Third, the outward-looking development drove economic growth. The quality of economic operation has improved. It is noteworthy in economic development that there are serious problems in capital and markets, difficulties in raising economic benefits, conflicts in industrial structure and outstanding inflation pressures. In 1994, the economy of Jiangsu is facing a favorable situation of continuing to speed up its development. The basic framework for establishing a socialist market economic system and the pace of promoting the internationalization of the economy will be accelerated. The rate of economic growth will have a relatively small drop based on the drop in 1993, But still maintain a relatively high level of steady growth. It is suggested that we should adapt ourselves to macroeconomic regulation and control and strive to stabilize the economic operation of our province so as to create a favorable environment for the smooth introduction of this year’s reform measures so that the national economy of Jiangsu will develop healthily in the new year. We will seize the favorable opportunity and push forward the reform. We must work hard to improve the overall quality of the economy so that the economy of Jiangsu will establish new advantages in the fierce competition.
