矿体呈水平层状的露天矿山,当最终边坡或长期使用的边帮上的岩体为互层的砂岩与页岩时,由于地下水沿层面浸入矿坑,冲蚀并根切了层面上部的砂岩与页岩,因而影响了边坡和台阶的稳定性。为解决这一问题,必须采取相应的岩石加固措施,以防止边坡及台阶的垮落。这些措施包括:链节式栅栏、顶板锚杆加金属网、岩石锚杆、岩石锚栓和喷射混凝土等方法。
