1963年我局测绘生产计划的执行情况是良好的，全局各生产单位都完成了或超额完成了国家计划；测绘成果成图质量有了全面的提高；在提高劳动生产率，降低成本方面也取得了很大的成绩。这是几年以来总局测绘生产全面实现多、快、好、省较好的一年，与全国形势一样，也开始出现了全面好转的局面。据初步核实的数字，1963年全局自营测绘生产工作总量（指扣除出包工作和非生产性工作后的测绘工作总量），超额11.75％完成了国家批准的计划。按全员计算的劳动生产率比计划提高了18％。全部实物工作量都超额完成了计划指标。和1962年实际完成额相比，生产总量和劳动生产率都提高了四分之三以上。
