蛋白102饲用玉米系墨西哥高蛋白饲用玉米的一个品种,属一年生禾本科植物。其特点:生长期长、鲜绿期长,植株高大,产草量高,亩产万斤以上,蛋白质含量高达11%(一般玉米仅8%),含糖量也高,牲畜喜食。该玉米生育期145天以上,生长旺盛、叶片宽大肥厚,最长达125厘米,最宽12～13厘米,全株23～24个叶片,多集中在上部。植株高大,最高达3.85米,平均在3.4米以上。单株鲜重1.93～1.25公斤,穗位平均1.43米,最高达2.2米。双穗率占20%,籽粒白色,马齿型,
