随着社会的发展人口老龄化的问题加重,城市家庭对家政服务的需求越来越大,同时市场上大量的进城务工人员城市失业人员也涌入了家政行业,家政服务业成为了我国新兴的产业,是国务院相当重视的能够解决大批的就业问题的朝阳产业。但是由于传统观念的影响以及法律保护的缺失,导致家政服务行业出现了很多的问题。作为弱势群体,家政工休息权得不到保护的问题相当严重。本文从劳动者休息权这一基本人权出发,讨论家政工的劳动权益保护,并对进行如何立法保护提出一些意见。
