The development of Chinese literary form is a twists and turns, and the change from classical Chinese to vernacular can only be achieved through the joint efforts of many people. The May 4th Movement was an important turning point in the history of literature. It is through this turning point that the pace of the development of modern literary forms can be steadily progressing.
