这套掌法是余启蒙恩师民间少林、八卦掌师欧阳平老先生生前所授。余在太原求学时,曾向恩师著名武术家陈盛甫教授请教,恩师甚为欣喜,遂一招一式进行指正,使这套掌法更完整,更科学。其后恩师又传余九宫八卦连环掌。两套掌法相辅相成,各具特色。余视若枕中之珍,从不轻易示人。每当夜深人静,追思二位恩师音容笑貌,常潸然泪下,默默演练一番。今值国术昌盛之时,余不揣浅陋,先将游身八卦九宫掌整理成文,以飨读者,并告慰二位恩师于九泉。不妥之处,敬请行家里手多加斧正。
