重庆市九龙坡区位于重庆主城区西部,全区所辖有城区学校、农村学校、城区结合部学校、厂矿学校、私立学校等各种层面学校102所,是典型的城乡二元结构,全区在校学生12万余人。以“人人享有体育与健康”为目标,全区学校体育工作立足学校体育课堂,面向全体,坚持新课改的深入推进,抓好师资队伍建设,强化体育教研管理,加大体育科研投入,提升体育竞技水平,营造学校体育文化,助推了区域学校体育的大发展。
