截止到2012年末,中国粗钢产量达到7.16亿吨,稳居世界第一产量大国位置。在中国,钢铁生产的主要能源是焦炭,焦煤资源短缺的问题不可避免会影响到中国钢铁工业的可持续发展;废钢品质差,杂质金属元素多,且供应不足,也会影响中国钢铁工业发展。直接还原铁是改善钢铁生产的能源结构,摆脱焦煤资源对钢铁工业发展的羁绊,减少钢铁生产对环境的不良影响,提高产品质量的重要途径。
As of the end of 2012, China’s crude steel output reached 716 million tons, ranking the largest producer in the world. In China, the main energy source of steel production is coke. The shortage of coking coal resources will inevitably affect the sustainable development of China’s steel industry. Poor quality of scrap steel and the presence of more metallic impurities will also affect the development of China’s steel industry. Direct reduction of iron is to improve the energy structure of steel production, get rid of coking coal resources, the fetters of the development of iron and steel industry, reduce the negative impact of steel production on the environment, improve product quality an important way.
