外向型经济是充分参与国际经济活动的经济,所要实现的目标是在世界范围内配置资源,提高本国资源使用效率,使经济在高于国内资源条件的基础上获得良性循环发展。我国沿海城市较早地提出了“盯住国际大势发展自己”的思路,不断强化外向意识,推动城市的持续快速发展。今年3月,我同市直机关有关部门的同志,考察了几个外向型经济发展比较快的城市,他们的成功经验很值得我们借鉴。联系武汉实际,我们觉得,武汉对外开放应采取抓住重点,全面推动的思路:即以跨国公司和国际大财团为重点,
The export-oriented economy is an economy that fully participates in international economic activities. The objective to be achieved is to allocate resources around the world, improve the efficiency of the use of its own resources and enable the economy to achieve a virtuous circle of development based on conditions higher than those of domestic resources. China’s coastal cities earlier put forward the idea of “developing themselves with a peep into the international trend” and constantly strengthened their outward-looking awareness so as to promote the sustained and rapid development of the city.
