Promoting the reform of state-owned enterprises and moving toward the establishment of a modern enterprise system are the necessary requirements of the market economy for state-owned enterprises and the grand blueprint for the design of state-owned enterprises by socialism with Chinese characteristics. In order to make progress in this great goal, we must strengthen party building in enterprises, give play to the party’s core role in politics, and effectively integrate the general characteristics of a modern enterprise system with those of socialist enterprises.
