新中国成立不久,毛泽东在得知自己的警卫员要回乡探亲时,就谆谆告诫他:不要认为在我这里工作就了不起了,要注意听听群众对政府的意见和反映。话语虽平常,含义却深长,在今天听来,仍令人警醒,发人深省。人心向背,是决定政党、政权盛衰的根本因素,中国共产党人深刻认同这一点,因此把群众路线作为党的生命线,把全心全意为人民服务作为党的宗旨,始终不渝地坚持“一切为了群众,一切依靠群众,从群众中来,到群众中去”。
