中国邮票出口公司成立于1971年8月13日,隶属 于北京市邮政局。经国务院批准,于1972年元旦开始对 外营业。1973年1月1日,交通部邮票发行局成立;同年6 月1日,邮政总局和电信总局合并恢复邮电部,交通部邮 票发行局也改名为邮电部邮票发行局。1974年1月,中国 邮票出口公司并入邮电部邮票发行局。1978年6月1日, 经国务院批准,中国邮票出口公司改名为中国邮票公司,
China stamp export company was established in August 13, 1971, under the Beijing Post Office. Approved by the State Council, it was opened to business on New Year’s Day in 1972. On January 1, 1973, the Stamp Issuance Bureau of the Ministry of Communications was established. On June 1 of the same year, the General Post Office and the General Administration of Communications merged to restore the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. The Stamp Issuing Office of the Ministry of Communications was also renamed as the Stamp Issuing Office of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. In January 1974, China Stamp Export Company was incorporated into the Post Office of Stamp Office of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. On June 1, 1978, with the approval of the State Council, the Chinese stamp exporting company was renamed as China Stamp Company,
