广电总局2003年12月发出通知,决定成立新一届科技委员会。通知指出:总局第六届科学技术委员会自1999年底成立以来,为推动我国广播影视科技事业健康、有序、快速发展,发挥了重要的决策咨询作用。鉴于总局第六届科学技术委员会的任期已满,在各单位推荐的基础上,经过充分酝酿、协商、总局第六届科学技术委员会主任会议研究并提出了总局第七届科学技术委员会组成人员人选。
SARFT issued a circular in December 2003 and decided to set up a new session of the Science and Technology Commission. The circular pointed out: Since the establishment of the Sixth Science and Technology Commission of the State Council since its establishment in late 1999, it has played an important role in decision-making consulting to promote the healthy, orderly and rapid development of radio, film and television science and technology in our country. In view of the expiration of the term of the Sixth Science and Technology Commission of the State Council and on the recommendation of all the units, after deliberation and consultation, the director meeting of the Sixth Science and Technology Commission of the State Council studied and proposed the selection of the members of the Seventh Scientific and Technological Committee of the State Council .
