公元2006年6月28日,山海掩映、万木葱茏的广东深圳大鹏湾畔,中华人民共和国国务院总理温家宝与澳大利亚国政府总理霍华德一行欣然而至,出席中国首个进口LNG(液化天然气)项目—广东LNG项目一期工程投产仪式,并共同按下了标志工程正式投产的启动按钮。历史将铭记这一时刻:在世界首宗LNG贸易出现30多年后—1964年,世界首次进行了从阿尔及利亚到英国的LNG商业运作—LNG终于登陆中国。作为中国进口LNG产业的开创者和领航者,中海油在中国能源史上书写下一页辉煌篇章。
On June 28, 2006, the mountains and the sea set off the shrouded banks of Dapeng Bay in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, State Council Premier Wen Jiabao of the People’s Republic of China and Australian Prime Minister Howard expressed gladness to attend China’s first LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) project - Guangdong LNG project a project put into production ceremony, and jointly press the logo project officially put into operation the start button. History will bear in mind the moment: more than 30 years after the world’s first LNG trade - in 1964, the world’s first LNG commercial operation from Algeria to the United Kingdom - LNG finally landed in China. As the pioneer and leader of China’s import LNG industry, CNOOC has written a brilliant chapter in the history of energy in China.
