Objective To understand the effect of electrocardiogram (ECG) on high temperature coke oven workers. Methods 1244 workers exposed to high temperature in the coking plant were selected as the high temperature group and 1180 administrative and logistics staff at normal temperature as the control group. The electrocardiogram was performed and the data were statistically analyzed. Results The abnormal rate of electrocardiogram was 31.03% in coking workers and 15.08% in control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2 = 86.23, P = 0.000). The abnormal rate of electrocardiogram in workers in high temperature group was significantly higher than that in control group Increase in working age and increase. Conclusion The cardiac function of coking workers exposed to high temperature has some harmful effects, suggesting that the health care workers should be strengthened.
