It has been confirmed in recent years that lack of vitamin E (Tocophenol a-tocopherol) is one of the causes of some neuro-muscle damage. In 1931, Pappenheimer et al confirmed that vitamin E deficiency chickens showed cerebellar ataxia. Later, many animal experiments such as mice, rabbits, and monkeys also demonstrated that vitamin E deficiency can cause serious damage to muscles, peripheral nerves, spinal cord and / or cerebellum. Nerve-muscle damage caused by vitamin E deficiency dates back to 1907 when one patient with steatohepatitis was found in Bramwell because of vitamin E deficiency with myopathy. Later, Clayton (1965) reported four families with seven cases of familial idiopathic intrahepatic cholestasis secondary to vitamin E-deficient ataxia (Byler’s disease). In recent years
