在厦门大学刚改为国立大学时,抗日战争全面爆发,出于学校生存与发展的考虑。萨本栋校长带领整个学校师生内迁长汀。内迁长汀后,厦门大学的发展面临着众多的困难,但学校却不惜一切保证教学质量,并积极为抗日救国献策献力。最终成为当时国内最完备大学之一。本文基于尊重事实的原则,希望在考察当时厦门大学教学、师资及抗战等活动基础上,探究厦大抗战时期办学成功的原因及成就。
When Xiamen University was changed to a state university, the war of resistance against Japan broke out in full swing out of consideration of the existence and development of the school. Saab the principal led the entire school teachers and students moved to Changting. After the development of Changting, the development of Xiamen University faces many difficulties. However, the school did not hesitate to guarantee the teaching quality at all, and actively contributed its efforts to resisting Japan and saving the nation. It eventually became one of the most complete universities in the country. Based on the principle of respecting facts, this article hopes to probe into the causes and achievements of the success of the Xiamen University during the Anti-Japanese War based on the inspection of Xiamen University teaching, teachers and the war of resistance.
