摩擦副的平均摩擦系数,往往在很大程度上随着每次制动所供给的能量和摩擦表面温度而变化。柏林工业大学运输及传动技术研究所用直径都是630mm的一个起重机用轮式制动器和三个不同的圆盘制动器进行了对比研究。在允许极限温度相同时,制动轮可以输入的制动能比同样直径、30mm厚的制动盘所能输入的制动能大20~30%左右。110mm厚的自然风冷制动盘比制动轮效果更好。而在短时间制动工作中,实心制动盘比外形尺寸相同的自然风冷制动盘更好。
The average coefficient of friction of the friction pair tends to vary to a large extent with the energy supplied per brake and the friction surface temperature. The Institute of Transport and Drive Technology at the Technical University of Berlin has conducted a comparative study of a wheel brake with a diameter of 630 mm and three different disc brakes. When the allowable limit temperature is the same, the braking energy input by the brake wheel can be about 20 to 30% larger than the braking energy input by the brake disc with the same diameter and 30mm thickness. 110mm thick natural air-cooled brake disc better than the brake wheel. In the short braking work, the solid brake disc shape than the same natural air-cooled brake disc better.
