In order to implement the requirements of the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs on further notifying the design review work, the Planning, Design and Management Bureau of Water Conservancy and Hydropower organized a meeting on design review in August 25-26, 1987 in Beijing. Participants at the meeting included the State Planning Commission Key Office, the Ministry of Water Resources, the relevant department, the Armed Police Headquarters, the immediate design institute, the chief executive, watershed institutions Design Institute, Guangxi Electric Power Design Institute and other units on behalf of. Vice Minister Lu Youitian of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Chief Engineer Pan Jiazheng, Director Wang Jing of the Bureau of the State Planning Commission, attended the meeting and made a speech. The meeting studied Premier Zhao Ziyang’s important directives on hydropower design work and State Planning Commission Qian Zhi Jian, deputy director of the State Council departments in the design review review exchange of speeches; listened to each
