《现代汉语》是高等师范专科学较、教育学院中文专业的一门重要的专业基础课。过去,师专、教院一直没有自己的为基础教育培养中学语文教师的《现代汉语》教材,曾长期借用本科院校的教材。师专、教院在高等院校的系统中,有相对独立的地位,有它特有的培养对象和办学规律,是高等师范院校系统中一个不可缺少的层次。师专、教院长期借用本科教材,这是一种不正常的现象。现在,在国家教育委员会的统一规划下,西南师范大学出版社出版了由冯志纯同志主编,由翟时雨、聂敏熙两位同志审订的全国师专、教院统编、通用的《现代汉语》教材,终于结束了师专、教院没有自己的《现代汉语》教材的历史,这是令人高兴、值得庆贺的一件喜事。
