九洲港位于珠江三角洲南端,地处珠海市东南角,面临珠江口,背依炮台山。北与广州水陆相接,南和澳门隔水相望,东距香港约36海里。港口西北有炮台山、石花山相靠,东侧有大九洲、横洲等岛屿作天然屏障,避风条件良好;港阔水深,终年不冻,是良好的泊地和珠海经济特区重要的对外贸易口岸。九洲港是一九八二年开辟新建的边陲港口,一九八三年开始边建设边使用,发挥了很好的经济效益,成了珠海与海内外水路客运的枢纽和进出物资的重要
Jiuzhou Port is located in the southern tip of the Pearl River Delta, located in the southeast corner of Zhuhai City, facing the Pearl River estuary, backed by Fortress Hill. North and Guangzhou, land and water phase, South and Macao across the water, about 36 nautical miles east of Hong Kong. There are Fortress Hill to the northwest of the port, Shihuashan River to the east, Dadeu Jiuzhou Island and Wangzhou Island to the east, with good sheltering conditions. The port has good water conditions and is non-freezing throughout the year. It is a good port for mooring and an important foreign trade port in Zhuhai SEZ . Jiuzhou Port opened up a new border port in 1982 and started to use it in construction in 1983. It has played a very good economic benefit and has become an important hub for Zhuhai’s waterway passenger transport both at home and abroad.
