《大足石刻》位于重庆市西120公里处大足县境内。始建于初唐。大足石刻以佛教造像为主,兼有儒、道造像,分布于北山、宝顶山、南山、石门山等地。1999年12月1日,联合国教科文组织将其列入《世界文化遗产名录》。国家邮政局于2002年6月18日发行2002-13《大足石刻》邮票和小型张共5枚,邮票图案分别是:北山·日月观音、北山·普贤菩萨、宝顶山·华严三圣、石门山·三皇洞造像。小型张邮票为宝顶山·千手观音。以5枚邮票制作的极限明信片,展现中国石刻艺术的典范,国之精华。
“Dazu Rock Carvings” is located in Dazu County, 120 kilometers west of Chongqing. Founded in the early Tang Dynasty. Dazu rock carvings mainly to Buddhist statues, both Confucianism, Taoism image, located in Kitayama, Baoding, Nanshan, Shimenshan and other places. December 1, 1999, UNESCO will be included in the “World Heritage List.” The State Post Bureau issued June 13, 2002, “Dazu Rock Carvings,” a total of five stamps and miniatures: the Beishan Sun and Moon Guanyin, Kitayama Sambodora, Hill · San Wong Cave statues.
