今年7月初,出席中国包协包教委七次全体会议期间,见到了阔别岁余的“老朋友”何玉明教授。我们每次见面或通电话时,他都称我“老朋友”,而在我的心目中,都是一直尊他为师长的。这也许是他的谦逊大度,或者这样更显得亲热。就按他的称呼叫吧。这次会议的一项重要内容,就是通过了《关于对包教委原主任何玉明的表彰决定》,赢得了大家的热烈掌声。何教授1960年毕业于中南工大并留校逐级任至校长助理。1987年,年届“知命”的何教授调入株洲筹建株洲
