No work, where to harvest? Did not broadcast the seeds of revolution, but look forward to communal blooming! Dream flag of red flying, but without blood to dye him, how can such a cheap thing in the world? This is the 1922 Zhou Enlai wrote in Berlin tribute to Huang Ai, Pang Renquan martyr’s famous verse. One year later, he wrote again in the letter: “Tomorrow is the Day of Blood Sacrifice of Huang Ai and Pang Quan,” praising them as “Lu, Li (Luxembourg, Liebknecht)” in China. Huang Ai and Pang Quan are the earliest members of the Chinese Socialist Youth League and the earliest martyrs sacrificed after the founding of our party.
