阿尔方斯·西尔伯曼曾担任本刊“社会艺术”号(第20卷,第4期,1968年)编辑顾问,并曾著文论述“艺术社会学的定义”。20年后,阿氏再度著文论述这一专题,分析社会学该分支的当前趋势。20年前艺术社会学尚处于萌芽阶段,正寻求更广泛的承认,而今这个分支已和其他社会学学科平等共存。目前艺术社会学正与传播媒介日益增长的影响以及日见其多的艺术表现形式相抗衡,后者乃是世界文化多样化得到承认的结果;它有时还有一个特点,就是对何谓后现代主义,看法往往分歧。《国际社会科学杂志》曾于同一时期出版另一专刊:《文学创作社会学》(第19卷,第4期,1967年),著文者有格奥尔格·卢卡斯、恩伯托·艾格以及普西翁、哥尔德曼等人。
Alphonse Silberman served as editor-in-chief of Social Science (Vol. 20, No. 4, 1968) and wrote the article “The Definition of Art Sociology”. Twenty years later, his article again addresses the topic and analyzes the current trends in this branch of sociology.
