The issue of the separation of party and government as the relationship between the ruling party of the working class and the people’s democratic national government has long been put forward in the history of the Chinese Communist Party and some useful explorations have been conducted. Reviewing the achievements of these explorations and analyzing their gains and losses will help us to understand today’s political structural reform. In view of this, this article tries to make a preliminary discussion on this aspect from history. With the opening up of the armed struggle between workers and peasants, our party successively established such places as Jinggangshan, Hubei, Henan, Anhui and Hubei, Hubei and other places
