This is a paper published by The Motor Ship at the 6th International Ship Advancement Conference. This paper points out that the test report should be used instead of the test bed record as a benchmark for diesel engine combustion diagnosis and the reasons for the discrepancy between the test report and test bed record should be analyzed.
