刘卫兵,1989年毕业于中国人民大学新闻系,同年进入新华社摄影部,现为中央新闻采访中心高级记者。从事中央新闻采访10余年,多次随国家领导人赴国内外考察、访问,也是国内最早奔赴阿富汗战争前线的摄影记者。新闻作品多次在国内比赛中获奖,其中《总理为农民追工钱》在社会上产生广泛影响,荣获中国新闻奖一等奖。已发表新闻图片近万幅、文字作品约50万字。
Liu Weibing graduated from Department of Journalism, Renmin University of China in 1989 and went to the Photography Department of Xinhua News Agency in the same year. Now he is a senior reporter of the Central News Interviewing Center. He has engaged in more than 10 years’ interviews with the Central News Agency, has repeatedly visited and expatriated with state leaders at home and abroad, and is also the first photojournalist who went to the forefront of the war in Afghanistan. The news works have won many prizes in domestic competitions. Among them, “the premier chasing farmers’ money” has a wide range of social impact and won the first prize of China News Prize. Has published nearly ten thousand pictures, text works about 500000 words.
