Although the anatomical endocrine and exocrine parts of the pancreas have a natural, consistent relationship, it has been assumed that the two parts exist independently of each other. This article aims to discuss the functional relationship between the two parts of the pancreas and the effects of pancreatic endocrine glands on pancreatic digestive activity.
