Lu Fenglan, a specialized household of vegetables in Chenzhuang Village, North New District of Tangshan City, started to plant early spring eggplant in 667m2 (mu) of greenhouses from 1997 to 1999 through early adopters of early summer sowing and cultivation of strong seedlings in Tianjin. The plantation was carried out in late March and early April and went on sale on or after May 1, obtaining a good harvest of 6600 square meters (kg) for 667m2 for three consecutive years.
