The monopoly industries in China have paid much attention to the issue of high-income in recent years. However, there are not many empirical studies in this field and the literature has discussed the average income. However, the mean is only an index describing the distribution of variables and does not fully reflect the actual distribution Happening. The questions of interest to this article are: Does the relatively high income of monopoly industries exist only in the average or in the entire income distribution? What are the main factors that contribute to the industry’s income disparity? The quantile regression shows that monopoly industries and other industries The income gap obviously exists in different income groups, and the gap gradually widens as the income layer increases. However, education levels and corporate profitability factors explain only a small part of the income gap. Using the disaggregation techniques of DiNardo and Lemieux (1996) as discrimination against Oaxaca, we find that the large number of unexplained gaps is precisely what discrimination means.
