麻阳盘瓠是当今世界保留得最完整的一种图腾崇拜文化,它经历了数千年的历史文化沉积,在长期的传承发展过程中,已演变成富有影响、富有地域性的特色文化现象,形成完整的娱神娱人的祭祀文化,成为凝聚民族向心力的情感纽带。本文对盘瓠龙舟的研究有助于促进麻阳民族传统体育形式的创新发展,提高人们的健身意识和生活水平,在了解民族传统体育的社会功能的同时推动盘瓠龙舟文化的发展,对盘瓠龙舟的保护和传承具有一定的借鉴指导作用。
