1 Introduction The rapid development of supramolecular chemistry has aroused a wide range of chemical industry attention. In this paper, X-ray powder diffraction with phenol and cellulose triacetate as an example to study the supramolecular interaction between them and the mechanism of action and structure between them. Phenolic hydroxyl and triacetate cellulose carbonyl through hydrogen bonding and cellulose diacetate unique gap system to form an inclusion complex. 2 Experimental part 2
