在高中英语词汇教学中普遍存在着这样的问题:第一,词汇量大,学生遗忘现象普遍存在;第二,词汇意义混淆不清,系统性不强;第三,信心不强,词汇学习效率不高,课外阅读量少。针对这些现象,教师首先要引导学生正确对待词汇的学习,培养其良好的学习策略。其次,教师根据学生的心理特征,年龄特征及生理特征等研究其教法积极调动学生学习词汇的主动性。教师可以通过以下方法开发和调动学生学习词汇的主动性:第一,利用构词法教学(词缀连环法);第二,同义词,反义词归纳法;第三,教词汇教文化;第四,趣味词汇教学法;第五,利用实物,图片及情景教学法,使词汇形象化直观化;第六,鼓励学生扩大课外阅读等方法来提高学生的词汇学习。
