对慢性闭角型青光眼和开角型青光眼的盘沿面积进行了测定及研究,结果如下:两型青光眼盘沿面积较正常眼明显减少(P<0.0005);两型青光眼的盘沿面积总值及各分区值差异无显著性(P>0.05)。研究结果显示:虽然两型青光眼发病机制各异,但同样表现为慢性眼压增高的过程,因而对视乳头产生的损害基本一致.
